Hey everyone, say happy birthday to my hedgehog Niffler :D
Michael Creese, “Balloon Ride” (2013)
Thanksgiving had passed, and Christmas was quickly approaching. Diana had so much to do to prepare for the holiday, that she started to get a little overwhelmed. “…what if I just skip the Christmas gifts this year? After all, it’s not the stuff that matters this season anyway…” she thought.
So, Diana made up her mind. She decided she would not buy any gifts that year, and that was that…. so she thought…
It was December 24th, the day before Christmas (obviously), and Diana hadn’t bought any presents. She went to her best friend’s Christmas party, then she went home and spent time with family, and then went to her room to get ready for bed. All was going how it generally does. It seemed to be a typical Christmas Eve, until Diana received a surprise visit. Diana opened one of her drawers to take out her pajamas, but instead what did she see? An elf! An elf popped right out of her pajama drawer, and handed her her favorite pair of pajama pants. He was a small little guy, no more than 10 inches high; he was so much smaller than Diana ever imagined a Christmas elf would look like. To her, he looked quite similar to a lawn gnome.
"Uhhh thanks…" Diana said, startled that there was an elf in her bedroom.
"Yeah, well at least I know how to do people favors!" The elf grunted back.
"Now Mr. Jingles, that is no way to talk to her. You are being extremely rude," said a soft, mysterious voice, coming from Diana’s pillow.
"….m-m-my pillow is t-talking.." Diana stuttered.
"Oh, don’t be silly," the voice continued, "It’s just me!"
Another tiny elf came out from hiding behind the pillow. She was lovely. She had very dark, curly, long hair, and big blue eyes. She was wearing a similar outfit as the grumpy elf. It seemed to be a typical elf outfit, like the ones that they show in all of the movies and stories.
"My name is Holly," said the pretty elf.
"Um, cool. I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but why are there elves in my room," Diana questioned.
…To Be Continued…
My friend sent this to me a few days ago, and if you haven’t seen it, it might be worth watching… hahaha
